The National Pony Society Baileys Horse Feeds Mountain and Moorland Supreme Ridden Championship (Olympia)
To be judged under the rules of the National Pony Society.
Owners must be adult showing members of the NPS before entering.
Where more than 20 ponies of any breed are forward then the class may be divided. The judge should divide the class according to the circumstances at the time.
First and second ponies in each class compete for the Championship when the Champion Pony will be deemed the pony to go forward to the Final at Olympia in December, provided the NPS Adult/Showing Membership Card is produced in the Ring. Only one pony may qualify in each qualifying round.
Riding / manners and conformation / breed type will be marked equally.
This competition is open to stallions, mares and geldings five years old or over which must be registered in the main body of their respective Stud Books. Part breds are not eligible. Mares with a living foal born during the current season are not eligible.
Entry Fee: £47.50 (including £7 levy).

- Ridden Mountain and Moorland Championship
- To be judged in the Castle Arena from the 1st and 2nd prize-winners in Classes 119, 120, 121, 122 and 123. Prize-winners eligible for the Championship must compete or forfeit their class prize money.
- NPS / www.horsequest.co.uk M&M Ridden Silver Medal Rosette Championship.
- A Silver Medal Rosette is offered by the National Pony Society for the best registered pony in the Mountain & Moorland Ridden section. To be judged under the Rules of the NPS. NPS Silver Medal Rosettes are only awarded when the Owner of the champion pony is a Member of the NPS. A valid membership card must be in the Rider’s/Handler’s possession on entering the ring and be produced immediately on request by either the judge or the steward. If the Owner of the Champion pony is not a Member, or the Owner’s membership card is not immediately produced, the rosette may be awarded to the Reserve Champion provided they have the required membership card. If the Champion pony has previously qualified it is still entitled to the Silver Medal Rosette but the Qualification Card goes to the Reserve Champion pony, provided the Owner of that pony is a Member of the NPS. The Silver Medal Rosette and the Qualification Card can be awarded no lower than first Reserve. Qualifiers are entitled to compete in the final of the Silver Medal Rosette Championship to be held at the NPS Summer Championship Show 4-6th August 2010.
- The Champion will qualify for the Torne Valley Mountain & Moorland Championship to be held at the North of England In Hand and Mountain & Moorland Championship Show 2010.
