Miniature Horse Class
These classes are affiliated to the British Miniature Horse Society (BMHS) and all classes will be run under their rules. Only horses owned by a BMHS member may enter. Owners, exhibitors and handlers must be current members and have paid the appropriate BMHS 2010 Showing Levy. Horses to report for measuring half an hour prior to classes.
Classes 53, 54 and 55 are qualifiers for the Horse of the Year Show 2010. The first prize winner not already qualified to third place only will qualify
Entry Fee: £50.50 (including £10 levy for Horse of the Year Show).
To be Judged on Thursday, 13th May in the Copper Horse Arena
- Class 53 Miniature Horse, Youngstock
- Miniature Horse, 1 and 2 years old. Registered Colts, Fillies and Geldings.
Yearlings not to exceed 82cms2 year olds not to exceed 84cms. - Prizes in each section: £41; £31; £26; £16; £11; £11.
- Class 54 Miniature Horse, Mares and Geldings 3 years and over
- Miniature Horse, 3 years old and over. Licenses Registered Stallions.
3 year olds not to exceed 86cms
4 years olds not to exceed 87cms. - Prizes in each section: £41; £31; £26; £16; £11; £11.
- Class 55 Miniature Horse, Stallions, 3 years and over
- Miniature Horse, 3 years old and over. Licenses Registered Stallions.
3 year olds not to exceed 86cms
4 years olds not to exceed 87cms. - Prizes in each section: £41; £31; £26; £16; £11; £11.
- Miniature Horse Championship
- For the best Miniature Horse in the Show. To be judged from the 1st
and 2nd prize-winners in Classes 53, 54 and 55. Class prize-winners eligible
for the Championship must compete or forfeit their class prize money.
The Champion will qualify for the Supreme Champion of Champions class at the BMHS International Breed Show in September 2010. - Champion: £105. Reserve Champion: £52.
